To let
people know exactly what happened when Dale Chihuly sued me in this
Landmark lawsuit, and how it ended up. It’s up to you to determine
if Greed and Arrogance was a driving force behind this lawsuit or not.
Nonetheless,
I firmly believe that this lawsuit was a Huge win for all Artists
worldwide! I am exceedingly happy with the outcome. At
great personal expense, I clearly
defended not just Glass Art, but specifically the Art industry
itself. As well as, the full rights of creative expression for
all Artists Worldwide.
When
considering a glass artist for your next project, please be aware
of who you are hiring, and how disconnected some artists actually are from
their own art - no matter what their company's advertise or proclaim.
What is the
value of an artist’s work if they themselves do not: design it,
create it, have never touched nor seen even a single component of their
own
project. Not to mention, they have neither physically been
present at the installation (work
installed by laborers), nor personally signed or installed a single
element of their own works?
I would like
to point out that unlike some artists ... I design, create and install
every single component on every art glass chandelier that I make.
My signature is proudly on all of my work, thus guaranteeing its
provenance; and ensures that I personally made it: Not a
student or a contracted artisan.
