Now
they are calling my chandelier a Dale Chihuly chandelier …
A recent promotional
article by the editors of the Las Vegas Review – Journal
(April 27, 2008) mistakenly described a piece of my work as being a
Dale Chihuly chandelier. The "Chihuly Chandelier" referred to
in this article (see
below) was actually made by me - Robert Kaindl.
Whilst I am somewhat
flattered by this, I would point out that unlike Mr. Chihuly, I
design, create and install every single component on every art glass
chandelier that I make. My signature on all of my work
guarantees its provenance and
ensures that I personally made it: not a student or a
contracted artisan.
