| This is the World’s First Cast Glass Picnic Table ... 3 Years in the Making! |

| This project actually started over 3 years ago. It has taken until now to develop the casting process required to accomplish. It has taken over 15 months for a kiln production team to just make the custom Casting Kiln needed to create this Perfectly Crystal Clear Glass (without any casting bubbles inside the piece). This project is a first in glass. Each of the 6 surfaces of glass piece is finish polished to a high-shine with bevel cut edges to expand the prisms effect. The Crystal Clear Cast Glass Picnic Table is the most complex casting project that I have done or I could have imagined that could be accomplished. The primary difficulty was in creating glass without bubbles inside of the pieces that are this thick and 6 feet long. This is only the beginning in thick glass furniture with large dimensions. The glass portion of this table weighs in at 2,000 pounds. |

| The Stainless Steel Base is
not “off the shelf” stainless tubing. Each stainless steel
span is handmade by 6 - 8 individual pieces of flat stainless steel.
Standard stainless tubing excursions have rounded edges and my
tables are finished to a right angle edge. The surfaces facing
the glass will have integrated internal lighting systems which would
light the glass from the inside of the sealed frame. Only one
leg of the Picnic Table will have a hardwired electrical plug in it
and it already complies with UL and CL ratings.
I know one will be headed for the Museum of Modern Art.
